The Australian cricket team has won the ICC Cricket World Cup three times in a row. They succeeded in 1999 and then won again in 2003 and 2007. In fact, since the first World Cup was held in 1975, they are the only team to have won three World Cups in a row.

They did this by bowling Pakistan out for a low score of 132. Shane Warne was named the man of the match

because he took four wickets in the finals with his leg spin. Warne, who is a spin wizard, tied with New Zealand’s Geoff Allott for the most wickets he took (20) at the end of the tournament.
